Bruce Levine

Bruce Levine is a practicing clinical psychologist and longtime activist in mental health treatment reform, and sits on the editorial advisory board of the journal Ethical Human Psychology and Psychiatry, and is an editorial advisor for the Icarus Project/Freedom Center Harm Reduction Guide to Coming off Psychiatric Drugs, as well as being on the medical and scientific advisory board of the National Center for Youth Law.

He is the author of several books, including Resisting Illegitimate Authority: A Thinking Person’s Guide to Being an Anti-Authoritarian―Strategies, Tools, and Models (2018), and Commonsense Rebellion: Taking Back Your Life from Drugs, Shrinks, Corporations, and a World Gone Crazy (2003). He writes and speaks widely about society, culture, politics and psychology.
